This is a very cool old gasser that has been updated to current and safer chassis standards. This is a fresh build with less than 500 miles on it. It was actually built for the street. All lights work.  Never raced. although I would think it would do very well. It drives and stops very good. It has no trouble spinning over those gigantic rear slicks. Runs around 3. 00 RPM at around 65+ MPH.  
Started with California rust free car.  Nicely done chopped top and all interior window trim around windows have been modified to fit new size openings. Flames are painted on. "FIREBALL" is vinyl graphics.  Super nice HD fiberglass tilt front end. I can tilt it open and closed with one hand faster than opening a regular hood. Rear fenders are glass also. Paint is very good. but not a super slick show job. More of a vintage gasser look.  
Frame and suspension: Rear frame section was cut out and replaced with a Chris Alston coli over ladder bar back half. 9" Ford rear with 4:57 posi unit. Front axle replaced with more modern Speedway setup with disc brakes. Disc brakes up front Drum in the rear. and it has an emergency brake that works. and Line Lock. All of the welds were professionally done. Super clean and professional look.  
Tires and wheels: Up front there are 15x5 Vintage ET  mags with 670-15 Coker American Classic Radials that look like the old Pie Crust front runners. In the rear are Vintage ET 15x10s with Radir 1200-15 Pie Crust Slicks. Wide white walls turned to the inside. I have close to $3. 00. 00 in wheels and tires alone. NOTE: If you do not want those tires and wheels on the car. I will take $2. 00. 00 to keep them and replace them with the Weld wheels pictured at the end of the listing. They are 33x13. 50-15 MT Sportsmans on 15x14 Weld wheels. and 195x65-15 Raptors on 15x4 Weld wheels. I have all caps and lugs. Front tires are new and rears are very good. but used.  
Interior: All of the hard work is done. Just needs carpeting. door panels. and head liner. The floor pan and tunnel fabrication is excellent. All Auto Meter gauges work. Horn works. Speedometer works. Blinkers work.  Wipers do not work. Unlike many gassers. this can accommodate a very large person. I am 6' tall and 235 lbs. I can actually push the seat back where I cannot work the pedals. yet it will forward enough that I also cannot work the pedals.  Accommodates guys of any size. Very rare option in a gasser.
Driveline: Rebuilt 4 bolt main 454. Casting # 14015445. Large oval port heads. Healthy cam. Brand new Holley 870 CFM carburetor. Probably in the 450 + - HP range. 7 quart oil pan. Runs great on pump gas. Trans is a rebuilt 400 Turbo. B&M Shifter. Stock converter. Rear is a 9" Ford heavy duty "N" case with a 4:57 POSI. New battery. Custom made headers with side pipe inserts to cut down on the exhaust noise. Sounds absolutely GREAT as is. but the inserts can be easily removed for the track.  
For shipping quotes use Fenton. MO 63026. I am just outside of St. Louis and right off of the highway so shipping should be very reasonable to any coast line.

They will give me a letter stating the length of the hold. It can vary depending on the bank it is drawn from. I have had holds up to 10 days. The car does leave here until funds are clear.
