This is one of my favourite cars of all time. it is a 1985 Lancia Gamma SII Coupe. It is a UK supplied RHD car and one of the very last being registered in January 1985. It is finished in the perfect colour scheme of Champagne with Beige L-Cloth interior and has had a fortune spent on it to keep it in superb shape. It has the rare and desirable Automatic Gearbox and it has only covered 45k Miles from new with a recent £3. 00 service. It comes with all books including the service book and has a comprehensive history.

The Lancia Gamma replaced the Flavia as the company's flagship model and was launched at the 1976 Geneva Salon. Both the Saloon (Berlina) and Coupe were styled by Aldo Brovarone of Pininfarina. Power for the Gamma was provided by an all-alloy flat-four unit of either 2. 0 or 2. 5-litres capacity. The engine's inherent lack of height gave Brovarone free rein to create rakish looking bodies with low bonnet lines and steeply angled windscreens. The car's underpinnings were similar to that of the its smaller sibling. the Beta - disc brakes front and rear and all independent suspension by MacPherson struts with coil springs and anti-roll bars. Changes were relatively few during the six years of production and largely confined to the facelift model of 1980 that comprised: a move from carburettors to fuel injection for the engines; a new radiator grille and 15-inch `sunburst' alloy wheels. At the same time the interior was upgraded and treated to new instrumentation and lighting. While the Gamma Saloons were built at Lancia's Chivasso factory. the Coupes were manufactured on Pininfarina's prestigious premises at the rate of up to ten per day. Some 6. 89 examples were built by the time production ceased in 1984.

Interior: Our car has the beige L-Cloth upholstery and has lovely burr walnut wood inlays to the doors and also the steering wheel. The carpets and seats are great. as the mileage would suggest and it is a lovely place to sit. All the dials work as they should as do the electrics. We have installed a new stereo and it works great.

Exterior: Our car is Metallic Champagne. which is the best colour for these big Coupes. being an SII it has the sunburst alloys and the tyres are all new. The paintwork is very good. but not perfect. there are a few minor blemishes but the general appearance is that of a 45k Mile car.

Mechanical: The car has covered 45k Miles from new and has been regularly serviced so drives exactly as it should. The engine starts first time and the gearbox changes smoothly. We have just spent £3. 00 going through the car so it is ready for its next owner.

Summary: OK. so we have the most desirable Gamma Coupe in the best colours. with low miles and in a fantastic condition. The service history is superb. it is taxed and Mot'd and needs nothing. It is also really good value so I really hope someone gets the rarity and beauty of this car as I do.
