This is a Military Dodge 20 passenger bus model S6-S400 High headroom 4X2 made in 1963. Curb weight 8350. 14000 Gross max. Bus body by Superior coach. Engine is a Dodge slant 6. This bus was used as a mobile lab by a local University. This is in need of restoration. This last ran 2 years ago and was driven to its current location under its own power over back roads with no brakes! The drivers seat is not fastened down . Engine is missing the air cleaner and there is no breaking. The tires have lots of tread and hold air and are not leaking. There are no batteries installed. The front passenger fender is dented and pushed back slightly. there is some damage to the front grille. There is very little body rust . a couple small holes on on the step and some around the tail lights. When it was driven here I ran it off a gas can and do not know the condition of the tank. Paint is mostly original and looks fairly good for its age. The bus is in the U. P. of Michigan and the snow is mostly gone for easy removal.
