This is a 1986 Pontiac Trans-Am V8 with extremely low miles (31700).  It has been transformed into a Knight Rider KITT inspired replica.  It is a mixture of the 1/2 season and the 2/3 season.  All the buttons work and most of them are functional.  There are phrases in the POD buttons.  The entire underbelly glows blue.  There is a police type speaker under the hood. you can play CD's or the KITT music as you drive.  The 2 tvs (one monitor for rear view camera the other DVD) and the rear view mirror also has 2 monitors. passenger side pull down is a DVD player. there are a total of 6 monitors on this vehicle.    There is a loud police type speaker under the hood that will play any music or phrases you'd like.  With a push of the button from the lower console it will play phrases that are stored on the POD buttons through the speaker.  The car does have 2 sets of keys but NO remote control to start or unlock.  If you want to set up your own alarm system with remote that is on you.  It does have one remote that is for phrases so the car talks while you are away from it for a short distance.
This is a show car. not meant to be a daily driver. I don't think any show car should be a daily driver.  Rob sells his for 60k off his site. Don sells his for 40k of his.  You may get a good deal at Barrett auction but how often do they come up?  I am willing to negotiate but reasonable terms.  There is no win-lose in negotiations. I strive to win-win.  It's not what you want or what I want. it is what we can both agree on and not feel regrets.  The KITT is complete. the Trans Am is an older car and will always need work but for car collectors they must know this.  It runs great now. I took it out last week through the street but on a early Sunday morning when the streets are empty.  Everyone gets distracted when they see it and want to take pictures at the same time drive their car.  That smells of accidents and one accident with this car and it will be expensive to repair.  I would suggest having it shipping closed container if you buy it.  I can send you a video of the interior if you email me at law. man@att. net and put in subject line KITT video.  All sales are final. no returns. buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and methods.  Title is clear.  Original odometer is in tact and under the KITT dash.  I believe that I have disclosed everything. I try to be as truthful as possible by disclosing as much as I can so you can be fully informed.  Of course some will use that for negotiation terms but that is the deal making method.  I won't sell this for cheap.  It is not a cheap car. it is a gorgeous expensive car to make.  I will never get what I put into it. I understand that but I will not give it away.  Please don't ask what the reserve is. there is a reason that the reserve is not divulged.  I also do not take payments.  No trade with other cars unless you had a jeep wrangler. corvette or possibly a 1978 Bandit Trans Am. then I would listen.  Does not mean that I will trade but surely will listen.
Happy bidding.
