Mercedes 450 SLC. Great car. Some typical rust problems of this model and great looking respray in the recent past has concealed this! Its new paint and carpet have seen it dressed in the past for sale. though it has been a very good low mileage car for age underneath. Great leather interior. Needs somebody to complete some work which I have done. I have had the fuel distributor and warm up valve reconditioned. Petrol tank cleaned. New fuel pump and hoses. Injectors cleaned. Cold start valve serviced. New plugs. distributer cap. engine vacuum 'Y' hose; oil and air filters. manufacturer specified oil. Goes great but now needs mechanic to tune it at the service centre. Quoted $105 for one hour at European Vehicle Services North Melbourne who have reconditioned its parts so far. Sunroof motor working. jammed from non use. Have left it so as to ensure seal at this point.
