1967 Mercury Marquis Coupe 410 BIG Block C6 9

What you see here for sale is a VERY RARE FIND an Original Unrestored  Rust Free Seafoam Green 1967 Mercury Marquis Hardtop - With Factory Super Marauder 410 FE Big Block Motor C6 Auto & 9 3/8" Diff and loaded with Options including Kelsey Hayes 4 Piston Power Front Disc Brakes. Electric Windows all 6 - this is the only car I have ever seen with Electric 1/4 Glasses !!!! Power Steering. Intermittant Wipers. Tilt Steering Column. Air Conditioning and Electric Aerial - All Factory for 1967 !!!

The 410 FE is a real Hot Sleeper Motor - it has the bore of a 390 and the 428 Stroke and Crank and they fly - suppose to go as good as a 428 CJ Motor  - These things put out 330 Horsepower @ 4600 rpm with a massive 444 ft lb Torque @ 2800 rpm !!!

It is a Rust Free 1967 Mercury Marquis 2 Door Hardtop Formal Roof 

 I brought this car in Redding which has a very Sunny Dry low humidy Climate - the car has never left California and still has the Original Black Number Plates on the car  - this car might look rusty in photos it all just surface stuff its picked up mainly on way over in container  - but there no real rust in the whole car its been up in Northen California all its life -  Vinyl Top is long gone - but you can see what you are getting !!

It was running when parked up 30 Years ago I brought it from the Estate of a man who died last year - leaving 140 cars behind - I havent had it running yet - but it turns over fine and I will throw a battery in it and get it running in the next few days  - It will need to be checked thru in the brakes and suspension department for sure

Its still a project car but a bloody easy one - its a very rare car with Factory 410 FE Big Block Motor. C6 Auto Transmission and 9 3/8" Diff and has Power Steering. Power Disc Brakes Electric Windows including electric 1/4 glass windows and Electric Seats Air Conditioning etc etc etc 

Just Imported from USA this is a Real Clean & Original Car

This is a Rare find in Australia a US Model 1967 Mercury Marquis Formal Roof (Mercurys' version of a Ford Galaxie)

  It Can be Registered in all States a Left hand Drive - I have Import Approval Permit etc .

  The Body has  got a few dents and bruises around the place and will need some work here and there - before painting  - but its not rusty

All the Glass is Real Nice

The Interior will need a some carpets. the front seat will need recovering and a clean up - but is in pretty good condition - Hoodlining and Dash are real nice.

  Its getting impossible to find almost Rust Free 1967 Cars these days anywhere - Let alone a real cool looking & rare Factory Mercury Coupe - Seats 5/6 full Sized People and another 5 full size people would fit in the boot - will make great Family Sized Summer Cruiser

Description Notes

The 410 engine. used in 1966 and 1967 Mercurys (see Ford MEL engine regarding 1958 senior series Edsels). used the same 4. 05 inches (102. 87 mm) bore as the 390 engine. but with the 428's 3. 98 inches (101. 09 mm) stroke. giving a 410. 1 cu in (6. 7 L) real displacement. The standard 428 crankshaft was used. which meant that the 410. like the 428. used external balancing. A compression ratio of 10. 5:1 was standard.
