High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) M998

Here is a once in a lifetime opportunity. well at least without paying $30. 00+ from Plan A Restorations!!!  As an Desert Storm Era Army Mechanic (63W and 52D). I know these babies inside and out.   This unit is from a Birmingham. Alabama based National Guard 6. 2L 3-Speed Auto M998.   Deployed one time had a layer of desert paint underneath where we blasted and sanded in prep for paint. in other words was run by Weekend Warriors once a month and has a TRUE  22. 50 miles.   I replaced anything with any significant wear in the engine and you will be receiving a mechanically great vehicle with all belts. hoses replaced.   Full service and all fluids and filters changed out.   Batteries were checked and one replaced.   We upgraded the tires to the 37" x 16. 5 with 80% Tread remaining and removed the 8 lug and heavy metal run-flats and upgraded to the 24 Lug with Rubber Bead lock run flat inserts.   2oz of airsoft pellets are in play to balance wheels at the optimum speeds under 50 mph.   All of the undercarriage was inspected for faults. deficiencies or leaks and repairs were done to make it perfect.   Brakes were inspected and are all within spec . I replaced a few seat cushions expecting the next owner would likely change out seating to their taste.   So there are a couple older cushions. but no rips or tears. and are fully serviceable.   No expense or time was spared in component testing and replacement to ensure this vehicle to be reliable and enjoyable.   Starter. New Water pump. Alternator. New Fuel Injectors are all checked out and were replaced.   Electronics were all checked. keyed ignition installed. New exterior paint. Doors stained. The interior was touched up. painted. or replaced.   One vinyl window repaired.   All Doors. and windows operate as they should no loose zippers on windows no loose stitching on canvas top.   New rear cab canvas bought and installed.   Spray in Bedliner was applied to bed and cargo decks so you can use this bed as you like. This truck looks and runs excellent. Truck came to me with the rear tool kit rack in tact. should you choose to use it.   Exhaust checked for leaks or rust. tightened up and is in great shape.   If you look at some of the CRAP being sold on this site you will see M998's with Trashed interiors or NO INTERIOR pictures at all. nbsp; and lots of bad incorrect paint. or trucks they still have on a trailer. or just rolled off it in time to take pictures fresh from the auction.   Being sold by LEGS that do not have any familiarity with the equipment or how to repair or renew it.   NOT HERE I was in the military and life in the motor pool help me know this Humvee inside and out.   Especially with the abuse the Desert could bring we know what to look for and what could be next to break.   We have owned this Humvee since October 2016 and have enjoyed playing. updating. repairing it the entire time we were updating everything on it to my standards.   I have sold many high dollar items here on Ebay.   I have perfect feedback on them.

This is a Licensed. Tagged. Inspected. and currently Insured by Erie Insurance for road use and we have a free and Clear Tennessee Title that is transferable in your state.   YES THE HARD PART IS DONE as seen in last picture.
