Selling my 1974 MGB GT which has just come out of  4 years dry storage. It has covered a genuine 76. 00 miles from new with every MOT and an amazing 39 years of service history by classic car specialists. Original bracken paintwork with faded orange cloth interior. 14 inch chrome Rostyle wheels in excellent condition with 5 new Nexen tyres. The spare wheel has never been used.   2 new 6v batteries just fitted. Recovered Webasto sunroof. original working Motorola radio cassette and Lucas front spot lights. Stainless steel exhaust fitted in 1978! Just serviced and has over 11 months MOT and 5 months tax remaining.
The car drives well with good oil pressure. no diff noise and brakes like new. 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive that works on 3rd and 4th gears.
Comes with original MG owners manual. Haynes and Autodata manuals. Also has original embossed front and rear. yellow and white number plates for road use.
Everything on the car is working as it should and the only thing that is not perfect is the paintwork. there is some bubbling in the paint around the headlights. OS lower front wing. and a small dent in the tailgate. At the advertised price all these areas will repainted to a high standard. otherwise I will deduct £400 from the price of the car. I pay £98 for insurance fully comprehensive limited to 3000 a year.
This is a beautiful little car with lots of character and really has to be seen. Viewing available in Southampton area.
