Up for Auction and a bit reluctant is my all original Wimbledon White on White Shelby de Mexico. yes that's right we said Shelby and Mexico in the same sentence. In the mid-sixties Shelby licensed The Shelby name to race as well as for the general public in limited quantities through Shelby International and partner Eduardo Velasquez. The rich history and the Shelby name makes this even more fascinating as is equipped with unbelievable options for a 1972 Mustang unseen in the States at that time. similar to the Legendary American '71 Boss with its original 351 4v Windsor engine. Original Carter 4 barrel carb. Dana 44 rearend. Hurst 4 speed toploader. heavy duty front and rear suspension. dual exhaust with tube headers. disc brakes. Ram-Air hood. Rallye wheels. and the list goes on. This is 1 of 2 '72 GT351's believed to be in the USA (other 1 documented in Mustang Monthly in 1983 and article shown in pic below. has same trim tag options). also 1 of 200 total produced and was the final year of production. I have numerous publications and documentation on the car and it still wears its Mexican registration. Mexican plates. etc. and comes with a clear title so no worries about US Registration (can send pic of title if requested). I've recently refreshed the mechanics to make her road worthy and starts right up every time. I did the following over the last few months; changed the spark plugs. brakes. alternator. carb rebuilding. new starter. battery. timing. new radiator. power steering pump. water pump. and the list goes on. She runs strong and shifts through all the gears quite nicely. Some surface rust but floors and trunk are solid. otherwise I decided to leave all original and all alone. Please note in the first picture I hosed the car down and didn't wipe the center of the hood properly. I have both Mexican fender tags still in tact on the car and c\pictured below (along with other various documentation and articles on car). Note the last pic was this model car back in 1972 when it was raced for Shelby. Here are a few sites of interest. which give you more documented information about this car (also see pics for South of the Border registry below):

Video of driving car as well exterior/interior inspection here- http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=ucBnzPIC1FQ (sorry for the shakiness. it's not easy to drive and film at the same time. and I was incorrect about the gauges. all work as we have an extra set of aftermarket gauges below the steering wheel for oil pressure. etc. )
Shelby de Mexico Articles- (Additional Publication on this car. including the South of the Border Registry documenting it as a "Shelby de Mexico GT351" car pics below)
