1972 Datsun 240Z (not a 260z or 280z)

Running the original engine and gearbox

shows 26. 00 miles. almost full tax and test. Tax is free.

Recently finished in black with 2 stripes that will remove if not to your liking.

Car is fairly original with some modifications listed below.

Sills and floor pans have been replaced.

A new radiator was recently fitted. new hoses. new fuel filter. new oil filter. new air filters. oil change.

runs SU carbs with 2 bike filters recently tuned

New springs and shocks

New carpets

Various new interior parts

new seals

14 inch electric fan to help cooling.


Modifications wise - exterior

Wheels are Lenso 17 inch 7. 5 front 8. 5 rear. tyres are deeper in depth on the rear and look awesome. brand new and unmarked. tyres are also brand new.

removed front bumper and grill. replaced with black grill and changed big lumpy indicators for LED ones which are hidden. Gives the front a complete new look
 
Smoked head light covers (not cheap and very sought after. but they will remove in 5 minutes if required)

Lowered 1-2 inch. sits very nice

Modifications interior wise

New 4 speaker stereo system. head unit is an sd usb ipod system. it does not play cd's instead you put all your music on an sd card and play them like that. This enables you to put all your songs upto around a 1000 on 1 card and put them in separate folders. (never fill your car with cd's again)

reclining bucket seats are brand new.

Some of the mods were out of necessity rather than choice. mainly the seats as no original ones were available

Overall the car is very solid and very reliable

Without a doubt stunning. it only gets better in the flesh and makes some incredible noise.

Very rare and priced I believe quite cheaply from what I have seen.

Reason for sale is that I have lost the place I store her. not in a rush to sell but would rather not have the car stood in the cold of winter.

I ran 17. 8 quarter mile time which is less than a second down on it's original time when new of 16. 9

I will consider serious part exchanges. M3. S2000. Rx7. TT Supra. (all must be manual except the m3). But only at trade prices.

No part exchanges with anything that should require storage in a garage or any classic for the same reason.
