1980 Turbo Trans Am WS6 handling package and T-Tops. I've owner this car since the late 90's. The car was built in Ohio but spent most it's its time in South Carolina. It had a blown head gasket when I bought it and was the most rust free and original TA I'd ever seen. the only rust on the car was one small rust spot on the drivers fender that was cut out and replaced with metal when it was restored. I kept the car in indoor storage until about 5 years ago when it was restored. It took 3 years to restore and it was completed about 2 years ago. I tried to keep as many original parts on the car as I could. Everything on the car was either rebuilt. reconditioned or new. The engine was rebuilt. bored . 030 over. it has a mild cam and lifters designed for turbo engines and the heads were completely redone with new valve springs and guides. The carburetor and turbo were rebuilt also. The interior got new carpet. headliner and seats reupholstered. the dash. console. door panels and trim are original and the original built sheet is still in the rear seat back. The rear end got all new bearings and seals. The trunk is in the condition it was when I got the car I've never had to do anything to it. The T-Tops are in great condition and I have the original storage bags for them. The original wheels were reconditioned and new Cooper Cobra P 245/60/r15 tires were installed. The car runs and drives great the only thing that I know of that doesn't work is the radio and AC. it has a slow leak in the system.
