Here it is. my pride and joy! This is a bucket list car for me but I have a couple assets for sale at the moment and I only need one to sell. (to complete my house deposit).

So I kinda hope this doesn't sell as it's my favourite of the bunch. But here goes.

65 Riviera (Clamshell headlights)

RHD Conversion 401 Nailhead95% Complete (Front seats and carpet missing)VIN & Build/Compliance fixed on body Doesn't run or driveAll chrome and glass included

-----------------------------------

The good:

The most desirable of all riviera years. 65 has the cleaner looking body (no vents in rear quarters and no headlamps in the grille). Rear bar has tail lights inside it instead of in body like earlier years for a cleaner look.

Car is mostly complete. Of corse there are some things missing but pretty much all of the important stuff is included.

Registered in QLD back in 92/93 (have the Rego paper). so no need for import approval as its previously been rego'd in Aus.

Would cost you more to import this from USA with current dollar and import approval and that would still be LHD.

-----------------------------------

The bad:

Previous owners must have had fixation with fibreglass as some repairs have been patched up with it.

Both lower quarters. rear floor and boot the same. But boot floor is solid. Hole under front guard. Bit of rust on panel between rear bar and boot. as well as tail light section (been patched up with glass).

Body is good but has some ripples in certain spots. Will need some repairs. but nothing too crazy.

Heads & manifold have been taken off motor as previous owner told me it had a head gasket problem (It's all in the boot).

-----------------------------------

Pictures form part of the description. so have a good look. I've got plenty more if you need more. get in contact and I'll forward them through.

Please don't waste my time and yours though. If you haven't got very close to what I'm asking. don't bother emailing or calling me. You and I both know how hard these are to find. especially RHD.

Comments and questions to the seller:

Hi there mate.
I run a classic car restoration centre here in Malaysia and was wondering if you could help me.

I have a customer with a 64 Riviera which needs full restoration work. Apart from that he also wants to convert it from LHD to RHD for practical and future sale value reasons. Is there anyone I can get in touch with in Australia that can help me out on this Rhd conversion? Any input, links, website etc would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

Best regards,
