In 2003 AC Cars struggled back to life and was now called AC Motor Holdings.
In November of that year a deal was signed to supply aluminum Cobras to Shelbyto its Shelby Facility in Las Vegas. The fact that AC Cars and Shelby were back together building Cobras after 40 years was highly touted because the cars were to be builtusing the original body bucks and tooling.
A total of 14 cars were made and exported out of England to Shelby Automobilesduring 2005-2006 period. before the production facility was closed down. All of themwere CSX 1000s.
ONLY TWO WERE SUBSEQUENTLY TURNED INTO THE FAM MODEL (FERRARI'S ASS IS MINE)FINISHED IN RED WITH TAN LEATHER UPHOLSTRY AND SPECIAL BADGING

Shelby brakes with vented rotors. brake ducts with screen. rivers side fresh air duct. Shelby gauges with silver face. cobra wheels with gold centers. car cover. special knock off hammer kit. carbon fiber hood scoopand tripod head light.
468 Cubic inchs with 550 horsepower and 580 lbs/ft of torque It starts with Shelby aluminum 356 T6 CNC machined "FE" block etched with Shelby logo and correct CSAE-H casting numbers.
