This is a 1926 Packard Roadster Convertible for Sale

I'm helping the owner - Mike - sell his Packard. He is not good with computers.
I am good with computers so I put it up for sale for him.

Please feel free to make an offer through eBay.  We will entertain any

serious offers.  Once someone makes a good enough offer through

eBay. we will accept it and end the auction.

Here is what Mike told me about the car:

Notes about the Car

I previously owned a kitchen and bathroom lighting business. I traded my business in exchange for this car. The car had been stored in a museum for 20 years before I acquired it.

It has a straight 6 engine and a 3 speed transmission.

The vehicle number from the plate is: 87053. The delivery date that is stamped on the plate reads July 3. 1926.

The odometer reads 1. 68.

The car is located in Falkoner. NY. which is near Jamestown. N. Y.

We have posted dozens of high resolution photographs and a HD video for you to view. The photos and videos were taken about a week ago - on September 14th.

Give me a call if you have questions about this car: Dave (813-495-0564)

I know it can be nerve wracking to purchase a car online.

Here are Answers to Questions You Might Have About Buying a Car on eBay:

Q:  I can't see the car in person—what if it is not as described when I get it?

A:  I definitely understand where you are coming from!

Here are a couple things to put your mind at ease:

1. I sent out a professional photographer who has seen the car in person and has reported back to me with high-resolution photos and HD video.

We also made sure to point out any flaws the car may have.

We want to be as honest and forthcoming about the car as possible.  You don't want to buy a car that you are not comfortable with.  You need to know you made a good decision.

If you prefer you can have an independent third party come out and inspect the car and make sure it is as we described.  eBay recommends www. InspectMyRide. com.

Of course you may send a friend or relative out to look at the car. or come and see it in person.

Finally. eBay protects both the buyer and the seller through their program called Vehicle Purchase Protection (VPP).

This program provides protection for transactions that are completed on eBay against fraud and scams.  You can read about it in detail here:  http://pages. motors. ebay. com/buy/purchase-protection.

For example. if you pay for a vehicle and never receive it. you are covered under VPP.

Q: How do I pay for the car?

A:  If you win the auction. here is the standard procedure that most people follow:

Step 1. You make a refundable deposit on the car through eBay and Paypal (just follow the instructions from eBay after the action ends).

Step 2. The owner will email or fax you a copy of the Title. and a signed Bill of Sale.

Step 3.  You send a bank wire to the seller's bank for the remaining balance.

Step 4. You pick up the car immediately after the bank wire is received (which usually takes about 45 minutes from the time you send it).

Or. we can help you make arrangements to have the car shipped to you.

Q: Can I have someone come out and look at the car?

A:  Of course!  We've done the best job we can presenting the car through the photos and videos. but nothing beats seeing the car in person.

Feel free to call me (813-495-0564) to set up a time to come out and see the car yourself. or to send someone to come out and inspect it.

I've tried to reach you several times to ask questions about the Packard that you one time was advertising. I have left numerous messages on your voicemail but if not receive a return phone call. I simply have questions about the history of this car. I promise not to take a lot of your time, I simply just want to learn a little bit about where the car originates. I can be reached by email or by phone at 540-661-0430
