We purchased this car on behalf of a customer to cosmetically/mechanically restore as a quality driver; however. shortly thereafter the customer lost his job. Consequently. we ended up owning this running/driving car in August 2016. Recently completed extensive work with new paint. power top. interior. aftermarket new. N. O. S. and refurbished original parts.

Car's history as told by 2nd owner:

Garaged for many years in New Mexico before spending over 20 years garaged in dry West Texas. and seldom driven; as validated by the overall solid condition of the all original sheet metal with some minor undercarriage surface rust. Out of the factory with a Slant-6; now has a 1970 360 CID V8. see following specifications.

K-Member: period correct small block V8 with correct torque-torsion bars.

Engine: rebuilt 1970 360 L - Block # 3418496 – . 30 over – polished 10/10 crank. mild cam.

Heads: rebuilt 1970 340 “J” T/A - Casting # 3418915/Intake 2. 02/Exhaust 1. 88. Hardened seats.

Aluminum water pump: new belts & new hoses.

Ignition: new Pertronix with Blaster coil. new cap-plug wires-voltage regulator-ballast.

Intake: Edelbrock Performer - dual plane – new vacuum lines.

Carburetor: new Edelbrock - 600cfm 4 barrel. electric choke - new throttle & kick-down cables.

Gas Tank: cleaned/sealed – new sending unit/ground strap – new flip-up gas cap/fasteners.

Fuel System: new Precision electric fuel pump – 2 x in-line filters; engine block-off plate.   

Air cleaner: new 14” black with 2” tall genuine K&N filter; 360 High Performance decal.

Exhaust: long headers to 3” twin T/A exhaust. X pipe with MagnaFlow mufflers & stainless tips.

Transmission: 727 by TCI. with 11” B&M Performance 2. 00 stall converter – firm shift kit.

Radiator: new 4 row aluminum. transmission cooler; stock shroud/original 7 blade metal fan.

Front end: new shocks/bearings/seals/bushings - all else in solid working order.

Rear-end: 1970 8¾” - Casting # 2881489 – Sure-Grip 3. 91 gears.

Rear axle: welded traction bars. shocks replaced.

Brakes: 7” MOPAR power booster - rebuilt disc/drum brakes. disc/drum proportioning valve.

Power Steering: rebuilt Federal power steering pump with new hoses and lines.

Steering Column: factory collapsible.

Steering Wheel: restored – horn working.

Body: minor body dents. etc. . professionally repaired.

Paint Color: Glacier white.

Electrical: new engine bay wire harness. rebuilt alternator. mini torque starter.

Battery: new relocated in trunk with correct gauge wires; grounded to sub frame & engine.

Glass/Vents: all original in good condition with all crank mechanisms greased and working.

Gauges: stock/restored gauge cluster with working gauges and new VDO tachometer.

Radio: not-working original AM radio. NOS under dash speaker. and new correct antenna.

Weather Stripping: all new. including windshield with new chromed plastic trim base insert.

Chrome & Stainless trim: new front bumper with all other trim in good driver condition.

Emblems: original and N. O. S.

Wipers/Washers: new wipers/arms with new electric-pump washer bottle system.

Wheels: new American Racing Torq Thrust D – 15 x 6 front – 15 x 8 rear – 4 x 4. 5 BP.

Tires: new Kumho 205/50/15 front - 225/60/15 rear.

Alignment: Professionally aligned.  

Spare: as-new Kumho spare - original jack – spare well hardboard cover - vinyl trunk liner.

Fender tag: missing.

Upholstery rebuilt & installed by a 3rd Party professional shop.

Interior Color: “Black & Tan” with black door/rear panels - carpet.

Seats: Tan vinyl buckets - rear bench – new frames/springs/foam buns/new seat hinge trim.

Dash: new black dash pad and restored dash panels.

Sun Visors: original Tan.

Seat belts: new front Tan lap belts.

Convertible Top: new black top/clear vinyl window. new well lining. original boot cover.

Convertible Frame & Motor: refurbished/painted black – motor has fresh fluid.

Inspection: Texas Safety Inspected before. and after extensive work was completed.
