History:

This car was purchased by Mr. Ernest Mueller in February. 1926 at the Oakland. CA Dodge Brothers Dealership.   The price was $962. 00.   Mr. Mueller paid $118 to upgrade to 24” wheels from the standard 20” wheels.   The story has it that Mr. Mueller was an Englishman. residing in the U. S.   He did not like driving from the left side of the car and special ordered this car with right hand drive and Dodge complied.   Original Bill of Sale is included.   I am the third owner.

Restoration:

This car was an exceptionally straight and rust free candidate for restoration.   The body off project entailed rebuilding the engine and fuel system. new wiring. complete refinishing of the body. top and upholstery and metal plating.   Work was completed in the fall of 2008. The quality of the work can be measured by its receipt of the coveted AACA Grand National First Award for authenticity and quality.   The car remains in like new show condition and is a beautiful and totally reliable runner.   It is a pleasure to drive and an is sure to attract attention on the show field and in parades.
