Complete series 2 1750 GTV for auction. no reserve. for restoration or parts.
Originally a silver car. it was then  painted blue and then red in the 90's and was parked up not long after. The paint job was poorly prepared. with a very thick layer of high-build primer sprayed directly over the blue/ original silver paint. it has lifted in a few areas due to the poor preparation so the car will need to be stripped to bare metal for restoration.
The body probably looks worse than it is due to the paint lifting on some areas. but under the high build primer lifting you can still see the original paint which is good news.
It will need outer sill panels replaced (a matter of course for 105 coupes) and work on the nose section. at minimum the lower front valance panel section will need to be replaced. There are a couple small bubbles on the boot lid and a couple other areas. All panels are available locally and in the UK at very reasonable prices.
The floor is quite good. only a patch or two on the passenger side required. The boot floor and spare wheel well is good.
The 1750 engine apparently ran a couple years ago but i have not tried myself. Of course sitting so long the fuel tank will need to be cleaned and brakes / hydraulics will need to be rebuilt.
The interior is average. i'm not sure if the cloth seats are original or not. most were vinyl but cloth was also available. The dash has a few cracks. the headlining looks OK.
These 105 coupes are very collectable. restored examples are now reaching $50 to $80k+. or more overseas. so it is well worth restoring. I was going to do a GTAm style car but plans have changed. happy to keep if not sold. May swap for a Giulia Super project.
The car rolls and steers. the handbrake works. Pick up on a trailer or car transporter required.
