This truck has a very clean and very straight body. cab has not been chopped and no rust to cut out. Just a little bit of surface rust here and there from the truck being left in primer. Runs and is currently driving on the road. very little left to do to finish up this really cool truck. Check out the video and pictures. Truck title is clear and it is titled as a 1947 International KB1.

The nose of the truck is on linear bearings mounted in the front clip. the whole nose moves away from the cab bout 4 inches then tilts forward on a set of hinges. The hinge pins can be removed. along with the actuator pins to take the nose off the truck. The headlights and turn signals are wired with GM style connectors. Takes about 5 minutes to take the nose off.

We have all the original stainless steel “wiskers” for the front grill. the KB1 emblems. international emblems and the hood and nosepiece. The wiskers polish up nice but the emblems will most likely need to be re-chromed.  Also have some spare parts including a spare grill. inside fender panels. some spare wiskers and door hardware etc.

The 348 has about 500 miles on it and was professionally built. head job. new pistons. cam. bearings etc. Intake has a Chevy duel carb manifold. two Edelbrocks with progressive linkage.   Spark is provided via electronic points eliminator kit and distributor and MSD coil.

Started this project a couple of years ago. finances and other projects put it on the back burner and we are forced to sell it rather than finish it up.

Things left to do. Needs a front end alignment and different front wheels. The offset on the front wheels is wrong for the fenders and if you turn the wheel all the way to the stops it will rub the fender.   There is plenty of room for more offset in the wheel. The final fuel tank fill set up has to be sorted out. Right now there is a whole in the bed to get to the fill spout on the fuel tank. There is a cut out on the driver side of the truck bed panel that was for an aircraft type fuel fill spout. One can be installed or it can be welded up. The hood/nose hold down clips should be re-done as the ones I put in were a prototype to give the hood something to slide and land on. I am sure someone can come up with a cleaner set up. None of the hood. grill or front fender parts are welded. just bolted together. so if you do not like the tilt out you can always go back to stock style hood setup. We were going to install full length running boards and use the front edge of the running board to “hold” the back of the front fenders so they don't bang the cab etc when running down the road. Plus. in my humble opinion. this truck is just begging for a set of full running boards to tie the rear fenders. bed. cab and front fenders all together. The interior is painted with lizard skin and it is protecting the metal really well. Other than the seats and the inside door panels the interior has not been worked on. Everything electrical works but I am sure someone can come up with a more attractive way to handle the dashboard switches etc. The ignition switch on the column works and comes with two keys. There is a stereo with CD player wired up but no speakers have been installed yet.
