Vehicle is a 1987 & 1989 not 77. Ebay does not recognize European VINs.
Very very rare 1987 & 1989 Unimog U1300L Fire Pumps for sale. Both units were recently serviced with new fluids and filters all around (including the portals). The 1987 is Former fire engine that includes a 1. 4l Renault 4cyl pump in the rear. Normal axle ratios. The engine is incredibly clean and well maintained with books of maintenance from the French municipality that last owned it. Body is in great condition and could use a paint job if you wanted. Completely mechanical 6 cylinder turbo diesel engine with very low miles! This is the perfect engine for being off the grid if needed. I recently changed all of the fluids including the portal axels (you can see the fresh drippings from when I drained them).  This would be a great candidate for an expedition vehicle. awesome show truck. or leave it as is. I can all but guarantee you will not find another 5 passenger Unimog like this for sale or even in the hands of a private owner.
Known issues: Both fenders have perforated rust above the mudflap. They are easy bolt on pieces that can be ordered for about $150 a piece new. The rest of the body and frame is free from rust other than a few areas of surface oxidation. The right front of the bumper is bent as well as a side step. Again easy to fix if you wanted. The battery box has a crack in the bottom (replaceable). And last the clutch master cylinder has a small leak ($40 repair kit from eurotruck importers).
The second Mog is a 1989 Extended Cab Doka with four full doors and only 23k Kilometers (just under 15000 miles)! It has the NA OM352 engine and a rear PTO driven pump. This one still sports its originally livery from when it was in service just north of Marseille in France. Most would say this is the real gem of the two because of its low miles and incredible shape. I also recently installed a new aluminum fuel cell on it.
Known issues: Small dent to the front right bumper and the headliner inserts sag a little. Also one of the fire pump aluminum covers has a crack in it.
These two Mogs took me a ton of effort. time. and money to import from Europe. I'm only selling one because I'm moving across country and recently had our first born. Too many projects and I don't have the time anymore. This is a great truck as is and turns heads everywhere! They need to sell in the next three weeks or they will be consigned to a local classic car dealer. Get them while they last and make me a solid offer!

Titles are in hand! The trucks are in Hopkinton Massachusetts and I will be in Southern California starting the 11th. I have a friend who can help with removal from my property if needed. Anything over 100 miles away I would strongly recommend having transported as the top speed of each truck is 55 mph. This can easily be raised to 75 with new ring and pinion gears.

If you know Mercedes Unimogs you know these are exceedingly rare and even more rare with the extended cab. You are getting a great deal at a my loss. I hope they go to a good home!
