1971 Volvo P 1800 E beautiful solid true survivor

If you have ever wanted to own the best car Volvo ever made this is a great opportunity. A true survivor. This car comes out of the Estate of the second owner. She bought the car in the mid 70's as a slightly used car from a friend of hers. It was her 3rd 1800. When she got too old to enjoy it she passed it on to her son. He did not need it so he rarely drove it and put it in dry heated storage for the next ten years. Then he gave it to his son who with the help of his mechanic. uncle went through it completely to get it back on the road. It has new brakes. hoses. fuel lines. fuel pump. gas tank removed boiled out coated and put back & basically all the soft parts that don't age well.

It has never been damaged or rusted or even apart for that matter. Other than one very high quality repaint about ten years ago it is completely original. It was correctly painted the original and correct white. It has approx. 58. 00 original miles on it. Complete original and very nice red leather interior. Front seats show some normal wear but still look great. Dash is excellent and still has all the original interments and decals from the factory working perfectly. It still has the original factory AM FM push button radio and single speaker that work like new. Clock included. It has factory air (needs to be charged) and overdrive that works wonderfully. It is a four speed. Shifts up and down perfectly. Brakes very well handles just like it should and is a joy to drive.

I cannot image a more complete. solid and original P1800 with this low of original miles on it. The Ivory with red is stunning and the paint still shines like new and looks great. Please  take time to look at all the photos as they describe the car better than I can. Or better yet come see it in person. It is worth the trip.  It runs amazingly well and I would not be afraid to drive it anyplace. It would make a great high quality driver or very good show car. A great investment in a quickly appreciating divable classic.
