First let me say. it took over five years to locate a 1972 Lincoln Mark IV in such impeccable original condition.   Car has never been damaged. re-painted. or touched up.   Body. chrome. and paint look fantastic.   Photos tell the story.   The vehicle is a time piece.   Less than 30. 00 documented original miles.   I have every service record since new from Pompano Beach Lincoln Mercury. Original owners manual too. Two original keys. Original interior and headliner in great condition.  Dash perfect.   All power seats. windows. power locks. and lights work. Absolutely no electrical issues what-so-ever.   Even Cartier Clock works as new.  One of the photos even shows piece of original plastic cover factory used to protect the seats for transport to dealer showroom.

What I have done since I've owned the vehicle.

New manifolds. Factory originals were known to crack.

New Exhaust only because I replaced the manifolds.   Seemed like the correct thing to do.

Replaced the original battery.   Yes for 44 years the original battery was still in the car.

Complete steering front-end wear items replaced.   The front-end rubber just dried out over the years so had it all replaced at a cost of $1600. 00.   Vehicle alignment is perfect with 4 new radials.

Radiator cleaned. flushed. and new thermostat installed.

Rear end seals replaced.

New plugs. wires. carb rebuilt. and points replaced to electronic.

$3800. 00 in mechanical service making sure the vehicle was in perfect driving condition.

A/C and climate control work perfect.

Car runs as new. Transmission is perfect.   Brakes original and do not need replacing yet.

Original spare tire.   Never been removed from trunk.

Original radiator hoses.   I did not want to replace because wanted to show how original the car is.   I keep a new hose in the trunk just in case.   Carpet and trunk covers never replaced.   Still look new.

Motor has not been repainted or even cleaned.   That's how it looks after 45 yrs of use.

All chrome bumpers and grill perfect.   No discoloration or pitting what-so-ever.

Only negatives: Small rear-seal leak.   Mechanic said not to worry about it and try to use sealer leak to fix it.   Haven't done that yet.   Small crease in portion of rocker panel chrome trim.   So far underneath car you have to really bend-over and look to see.   Transport driver did it when unloading the car. Can be easily fixed by replacing $100 trim piece .

Options include. cruise control. power windows. power seats. climate control. rear slip control. am/fm stereo radio. power antenna. leather interior. steering wheel grip horn. etc.  Well optioned Mark IV

The vehicle has been recently serviced to drive without issues.   In the last year I've driven the Lincoln approximately 3000 miles. You could take it cross-county without a problem.

What makes this car most unique besides great condition in its 45 year history it remained a non-smoker car. Also. doesn't have old car smell.   Still smells like a Lincoln inside.   I've owned it for approximately a year.   Documented 2 owner same family car upon my purchase.   My collector insurance appraised the car at 25k and thought it could be worth more to an appreciative buyer. My reserve is reasonably below appraisal value.   Good luck bidding.
