1983 Avanti Coupe for sale

This is an Avanti. Serial RQB 3689 (Camaro engine and GM auto trans. Girling brakes) 35470 miles. (See Speedo Pic) It is not technically a Studebaker product. since they had closed. but it is the only way I could list it on this site.


This one you can truly “drive home”. Or I will drive it to you for the price of a one way plane ticket back from where it is delivered.


Don't let the Wisconsin address scare you. Never driven in winter. And when driven on nice days. washed always before storage in one of the washes that does the under spray rust protection.


“Hog Troughs” appear OK and intact.


It was purchased from “storage” after a 5 year rest. All service was then done.

Full synthetics in all lube areas. all belts and hoses replaced. Brakes totally re-done. new Pirellit P'600s (tube type for wires ) with about 500 miles on them. (all service records are available from current and previous owner).


Everything works and air has been retro to current refrigerant. (134a)


Steering seems a little “vague” to me but the mechanic tells me all suspension is tight. I assume they were like other cars of the era. and not as responsive as the ones I drive now.


It was originally Gray. and was re-done in light pearl white. Very nice job and still in excellent condition.


Interior is very clean with no tears and leather is in excellent condition due to regular leather care.


Includes “bra' and cover. and “era” cell phone that still works. Nardi steering wheel is really distinctive.


Really fun car and certainly attracts a lot of attention when driven.
