1954 f100

Folks. Time to part ways with my beautiful old girl. Had her for around five wonderful. knuckle scraping. grit in the eyes. sweaty grinding. welding and fun filled years.  
Trust me. you won't find anything out there like Dorothy. What is she?

Dorothy is a custom truck. A true throwback to the 1960's with her bonnet cutouts. the frenched Cadillac tail lights. the custom valance for the US style custom plate. The welded up tailgate.  
She has a Cadillac electric bench seat. Autometer classic gauges including electronic speedo.
Stereo. speakers. etc.
Brand new Vintage Air Air conditioning installed and working perfectly.
B&M truck megashifter.
Ididit collapsible steering column as per engineering requirements for rego. Customised VT Commodore pedal mounts and Master Cylinder. All new brake lines throughout.
Yes. she's right hand drive!
Full steel dash professionally welded in.  Hand brake relocated.  

Series III XJ6 Jaguar front end fitted. All approved. Utilising existing soft mount of the Jag for a smoother ride. The front end has been completely rebuilt with new calipers. bushes and so on. So it has front disks. drums on rear. Power steering of course.
I have receipts for everything I have spent on it. I don't even want to tally it up. but it would be astronomical.
She's got electric windows. One piece of glass has a thin crack in it but new piece supplied.
The 327 Chevy engine runs strong. idles nice and has lots of Edelbrock goodness spent on it. as you can see. This is not cheap junk. 600 Holley. All this stuff is new. New water pump. new balancer. new performance manifold. Patriot headers. The engine casing indicates this is a high performance 327 with forged crank and bolted harmonic balancer. We can vouch for that as we have replaced the balancer with a new one.
Stunning American Racing wheels with excellent Cooper Whitewalls. Still have beading on them.
Truck has been rewired. Everything works. It has a brand new hi power starter motor.  
The list just goes on.
The old original star latch door locks which used to fly open have been replaced with new Altman latches.
Adjustable leaf spring shackles fitted to raise or lower the ride.
It starts first time and has outstanding road manners. Drives beautifully. Stops better than just about any car I have ever driven.  Plenty of power and a great sound.
Dorothy really is one of a kind. About two months rego left on her. but she will pass without an issue.
Only done 1400 k's since registered.
What does she need? Well. she really needs a paint. A few minor rust bubbles on one side of bonnet and a few minor bubbles on one cab corner. I have two brand new cab corners that go with it. but the truck doesn't need them. The rust is very minimal. She could do with a retrim inside too. No headlining.  
She was an Arizona car. Perfect underneath.

It is a high asking price. but when you factor all this stuff in. I am sure you can appreciate the amount of time and money that has already gone into it. I will accept a close offer.
I also want to apologise to the 500 or people who were watching the thing the last time it was up. My mrs was so upset to know I was selling this truck because she knows how much heart and soul I have put into getting it on the road. that she made me take it off the market. I could have sold it five times over for 32k.
