This is My Baby.   This car was purchased by me from the original owner in 2006 and underwent a 12 month full restoration.   I have a copy of the original owners title from 1959.   All work was done by Webb Motors in Roanoke Va.   They have probably 50 plus years of experience with British cars.  The car was stripped of everything not to be painted. and the body was carefully prepared for a top quality paint job.   The car shows extremely well.   Most of the  front suspension was replaced with new lower A arms. shocks. complete new steering rack and the car was converted to the latter model disc brakes.   This car stops extremely well.   A later model 1275 engine was prepared to a high standard with all new components.   A mild Kent camshaft was installed.   1 1/4" S. U. carburetors were rebuilt.  This car cranks instantly. idols smoothly. never overheats and is considerably faster than the original 948.   The car has the later model ribbed case gearbox and shifts smoothly.   An all new wiring harness was installed and all gauges and electrics were rebuilt or replaced including starter. generator and voltage regulator.   A Crane electronic ignition is discretely under the dash for bulletproof operation.  The dash was redone along with all carpet and upholstery.   New 5 point competition style belts were installed.   Moss "minilite" wheels and Michelin tires installed.   Factory jack. lug wrench and spare are there. New side curtains are included with the protective plastic still on them.   The convertible top is new and was only fitted once. nbsp;then carefully packed away.   THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN DRIVEN IN THE RAIN.   It has been kept in a heated garage and driven only 4000 miles since the restoration. mostly to car shows and runs to Chick Fil A .  I believe it was and is the perfect example of a restored Bugeye.   It should be driven more often and that is part of the reason it's time to let go.   The car has only 2 small flaws.   An incorrect sending unit was installed in the fuel tank at restoration so the gas gauge reads backwards i. e. full means empty and empty means full.   I got used to it and never made the change.   Also there is one small fender ding behind the left door.   No paint is missing and a dent removal service might take care of it. but as its hardly noticed I have been reluctant to fix it.

That being said the car is being sold as is. where is.   I am willing to help with any questions.   The car is insured with Hagerty for 20k but my reserve is a lower number.
