Up for adoption is this classic Chrysler built 1971 Valiant VG hardtop Coupe.
Build date:   March of 1971Compliance number:   4-M-23/768Seating capacity:   6Body number:   WA BERG4301Roof number:   VGTrim code:   G1. Engine bay codes:   V10. 4M-23. 768. Engine number:   D221B-01358. D = Hemi2 = 245 Petrol 6 cylinder - in line2 = Standard performance - 1 barrel carby1 = Automatic transmissionB = Year of build - 1971. M = Medium priced vehicle23 = 2 door hardtop coupe4301 = Paint colour 4301 made by Berger paints. Built in Adelaide. South Australia. The best way to describe this vehicle is to picture one of you favourite old girlfriends.  Sure she was a hottie when she was young but her appearance changed over the years as she aged.  But basically she is still all original but just not as pretty.  So this Valiant is similar in that respect. There are no extras with this car. what you see is what you get. the pictures form part of the description. This girl has had her vinyl top removed at some stage and is a tad bit sunburnt up top.  Someone made a half arsed attempt to bog a few dents. sand them and then leave them for the elements.  The paint you see applied was done to stop rust.  The car has had the back window removed and was left to the elements for a short time before I rescued her.  The floor had surface rust but is now painted to stop further rust and has some rust holes on the floor pans but nothing that I wouldn't call severe. large or unrepairable.  There appears to be small patches of rust on the wheel arches which have been repaired.  This car was a country car but most panels appear straight with no large dents or dings. The rear bumper is missing. as are the seatbelts.  The seats present very well considering the cars age and don't appear to have rips or tears.  The motor is complete and I haven't made any attempt to start it.  All the windows are intact and in good condition.  The headlining has been weathered due to the missing rear window and a portion of it is missing. This car would be good as a restorer. rat look. Dart clone. Pacer clone or parts car or for just keeping in the shed.  I'm sure the value will rise on these 2 doors as they are a good looking car.  No parts come with the vehicle and I did not get any parts with the car other than the 4 hubcaps that are on it now. I will only accept money for the vehicle so please don't insult me wanting to swap it for something else of less value. Any questions please ask. if you want further photos ask me. if you have a reasonable offer to make. then make it. There is no warranty on this vehicle inferred or implied. I can assist with reduced rates for transport so please do not hesitate to ask. Happy bidding.
