Porsche 944 Turbo

EXTERIOR
This is one of the last bridge spoiler 944 Turbo's and is in truly magnificent condition. It has only covered 24k miles from new. It is sure to be one of the best remaining examples. Other than a couple of carefully touched in chips on the front the paint work is flawless and all the original stone chip protectors remain on the arches. The underside wheel arches and sills are all exceptionally clean and free from any signs of corrosion. All the light lenses are clear and chip free and the windscreen was replaced at Porsche this year as it had slightly delaminated in the corner. The rubber door seals and window surrounds all remain deep in colour and supple to the touch. The original dealer sticker remains on the rear screen.

INTERIOR
A nice option on this Turbo are the sports seats with extra bolster support. these remain in near perfect condition with only the slightest sign of use on the outer edge of the bolster. The 944 gives an excellent driving position with all controls easily to hand. the steering wheel still retains good texture to the leather and the gearknob only shows minimal use. There is no damage to any of the trim and everything works exactly as it should. The Air conditioning was fully checked and gassed at Porsche in 2011 and still blows ice cold. The Porsche crested mats are protecting the immaculate carpets and the boot area looks unused. All the tools and the space save wheel are neatly stored under the boot carpet. The only non factory edition being a Becker Grand Prix stereo with ipod lead in the glove box.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The current owner has had the car as part of his private collection since 2009 and all cars are maintained to the highest possible standard. When purchased the car was fully inspected by Peter Morgan who gave it a glowing report with only a few minor advisories on wear and tear items. the car was then put straight into Porsche in Reading who went through it with a fine tooth comb and replaced all advisory items.

The car has been serviced every year since. at Porsche Reading despite only covering a few hundred miles each year. Earlier this year some more work was commissioned to make the car 100%. this time many items in the engine bay were replaced that showed any sign of age. the result is a 'as new' looking engine bay. There are invoices from the Porsche main dealer from 2009 onwards totaling over 10K to ensure this is the best 944 Turbo around.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The alloy wheels were all refurbished at Porsche in 2009 and remain in pristine condition. at the same time the front calipers were also refurbished and new items fitted to the rear. The tyres are matching Continental's all round and all have over 75% of the tread remaining.

HISTORY FILE
First registered on May 1991 and sold through Dick Lovett the first service was carried out the following year by them at 968 miles. Despite the low mileage there are then a further 11 stamps in the book all from Porsche dealers and a couple of well known specialists. Since the current owner bought the car it has been serviced every year at Porsche in Reading. the last being done in April 2013 at 24. 25 miles. Every invoice has also been kept from this period.

The history also contains the document pack with all the manuals. the original options list. lots of old service receipts and parts invoices. most of the MOT's dating back to 1995. the 190 point inspection report done by Peter Morgan in 2009 and a spare set of keys.
