I purchased this from a family that owns several ford dealerships a while back . It has been sitting in warehouse since 1975 . I was told it was a showroom car that they had .  I had a mechanic change the oil . ater pump . hermostats . lugs . ires. oints . battery . etc.  Also put new carburetor on it. It ran and drove . Needs new fuel pump . I purchased a new one and have not put it on yet .  They way you see is the way I received it . has a mild dent on passenger door only.  It's still a 6 volt set up . It's all original Hard to find car . 1949 MERCURY I bought this one for my wife . she wanted an antique can to drive but she can not drive a standard and this one is a 3 on the tree. I have 2 other cars I'm working on  and don't have time to start a full project on this one the way I want it to look and need the room.
