1986 Porsche 911

 Here for your consideration is a remarkable 1986 Porsche 930.   Finished in the rare color of marble grey with blue sport seat interior.   This is the first time this vehicle has been for sale since it was sold new at Sierra Porsche Audi in Reno. Nevada. It was sold to an attorney in San Rafael. California and then to his partner when he passed away.   I purchased the car from the widow of the second owner years ago.   The only mechanic to maintain the car was Billy McNair at European Performance in Novato. Ca.   I have been collecting these cars for many years and I can tell you that this is one of the finest cars I have owned.   It has traveled just under 38. 00 miles since new.   The car is without fault both cosmetically and mechanically.   Sit in the car. close the door and your eyes. breathe in and it is 1986 on the showroom of Reno Porsche. if you get my drift. Yes. the car is that nice.   It drives and feels as only a unmolested. low mileage Porsche does.   The 930 was the best you could buy in 1986. a true super car. This was the first year the G series was back in the United States. No longer did we have to rely on gray market cars or the long in the tooth 78-79 930's.   In my opinion the 1986-1989 cars are the most driveable and evolved of the 930's.   They came fully optioned with exception of the limited slip differential which this car has.   You also had the no cost option of sport seats which it has as well.   Fortunately this car did not come with extended leather on dash. door tops and rear package tray.   If you know these cars you know what happens to this leather with 30 plus years. It will shrink up and distort which kills the interior. nbsp; This car has never baked in the sun.   both the interior and exterior finishes are pristine.   This car is a candidate for any Preservation Class Concourse though I have never shown this car.   All i have done since I have owned the car is install a new pair of H5 headlights and repainted the rocker panels due to some imperfections I chose not to live with.   I think the 87 on H5 headlights vastly improve the appearance of these cars.   Of course the original headlights are included in the sale as is a correct Blaupunkt stereo (not installed) I had the wheels refinished by Weidmans"s Wheels in Oroville. California and installed new Bridgstone tires.   It is currently having a PPI at European Performance which I will share with any perspective buyers. I will also be posting under carriage pics shortly.   This car is not overly detailed on the under carriage as so many of these cars are when they go on the market.   The under carriage is untouched and beautiful showing all original cosmoline and 38. 00 miles of wear. Fully documented ownership history. clean carfax jives with ownership and mileage. Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Factory window sticker. all service books and manuals. tools and compressor and all keys. You can check all the boxes on this car.   Car is located in Sonoma.
