1996 Volvo 850R Estate Auto /Black/ FSH 124. 00 genuine miles (which will go up as she is used daily)

The top of the range Volvo 850. their flag ship the R spec.   From what I have been told. and by the way it picks up its heels comes with 250bhp.

But then if you are looking for a genuine 850R you already know that.    

She is a real wolf in sheeps clothing which will still scare off most of the modern competition after 18 years on the road. new over 150mph top end and I am sure she will still get up there.

However she will still return 30+mpg on a run and will carry anything you need in her massive boot.

Completely standard has not been messed with chipped re-mapped etc. So still working comfortably within its original specification which is still really pretty quick.

I have only had a new piper cross performance air filter fitted with its last full service to let it breath a bit easier.

Headlamps upgraded to xenon units. amazing difference on the 18 year old original lamps

As I have already stated I have a comprehensive history file to go with the car. including recent Cambelt change.   When I got her she had been stored for over a year.  

So in order to get her safely back on the road :-

New discs and pads on the back. new front pads and brake hoses the discs were already nearly new. and new copper runs back to the master cylinder. The brakes work perfectly

New polyurethane anti roll bar bushes and drop links on the front.

A Full service including gearbox flush and fill.   The engine and gearbox are both in excellent working order with no clunks or rattles and no smoke.

The bodywork is also in very good but not excellent condition. she is 18 years old after all.   There is no rust visible or mentioned on the last MOT earlier this year. She polishes up really well.

MOT till April 2014  Tax till October.

There are a few marks on the plastic parts of the bumpers. but again shes 18 years old.   Also the wheels are cosmeticly starting to show their age a little bit. but again not bad at all really.  

The car really is in very good condition with a full history to prove her relativly low miles and the care which she has always been given.

Everything works all the gizmos Sunroof electric seats etc etc. nbsp;even the front headlamp windscreen wipers. and yes all the dash warning lights come on and then go off as they should.

The air con has also been overhauled and the dual climate control works a treat.  

Both original keys. and both original remote's all working as they should all four tyres in excellent condition with plenty of tread left on all of them.

Only selling due to the impending arrival of a company car.
