1990 TVR 290 S3 British Racing Green for sale

Sad sale due to unexpected tax bill. my TVR  s3.  
BRG with tan leather seats . tan and green trim. Low mileage with all MOTs to prove.
I bought the car from a family friend who had owned the car for many years. The car has done less than 100miles in the last 2 years and is currently sorn . she has a FULL MOT just went through no issues 
During his ownership the car has had a full engine rebuild new rocker covers. alternator. starter motor. battery. new springs. new head lights sun visors. The chassis has been treated and painted. No oil leaks at all. new thermostat . does not over heat. New Cobra alarm fitted with new fob.  
a lot of work was carried out by Exactly TVR in Coventry. Wheels were professionally refurbished by Blast n' Prep in Coventry
History file including receipts.  
She starts first time and runs well. but would benefit from a tune up. due to lack of use . Recent stainless steel exhaust sounds fantastic puts a massive smile on your face! Brakes serviced all good. Goodyear tyres with lot of tread . No chips in the windscreen no delamination. CD multi changer with new Pioneer speakers.  

Please note it has a 5 speed box not 4 speed as stated in the tech spec above.

Not so good bits:

As mentioned few age related marks. the small rip in the hood- repaired. The door on the drivers side was resprayed when the hinge was repaired and in certain light it looks a slightly different colour- hard to show in pics but you can see it if you look. - A few scuffs underneath the front valance from opening the bonnet to far but you cant see them. she needs a good polish- but overall the paint looks good. The fuel gauge stops at a quarter of a tank . o if you run it low you have no idea how much fuel you have. so need to keep tank full or carry a can! - Typical TVR!! Needs a new gear gator the old one is a bit tatty so I removed for photo. but have replaced it as now I've cleaned it . it looks ok . new ones cost 24. 99 overall a well looked after low miles S3 that drives well. one of the cheapest s3 on the market. solid all around and underneath. o leaks . starts first time she's  had a lot of money spent on Her. I really do not want to sell her. but unless someone reading this is from HMRC and can make my tax bill go away I have no choice!  Please come and view.
