This is the Auction for a much loved and very well maintained British classic MG RV8.

These have slowly risen in value over the past few years and represent a great value collector's car with very reasonable service and maintenance costs with parts readily available and simple to replace.

This particular car was one of the original cars exported to Japan in 1995 where it remained until 2007.

This is rare as the Japanese MOT test is so stringent that unless a car is maintained regardless to cost then they will fail and most classic cars from this era would have struggled to pass and with the test itself costing well over £1000 many owner sort at that point to sell the car either to one of the specialist exporters or to auction it.

The Japanese's owner of this car must have really looked after it as within the comprehensive service record is also the MOT tests carried out by the main dealer.

This car has uniquely a full Japanese Service history from MG Rover Japan with the original service book and also the Important Japanese inspection MOT.

The vehicle was imported for the previous owner by a specialist in May 2007 and was supplied to him with a full inspection report and a list of work carried out by the supplying dealer as well as a certificate from the BRITISH MOTOR INDUSTRY HERITAGE TRUST confirming its chassis number and heritage.

He has maintained it regardless of cost ever since with a full and complete detailed record of all maintenance and repairs carried out up to date.

The paintwork is in great condition. no corrosion. and I've just had a scuff on the driver's door rectified. the hood looks brand new. fits perfectly.

I doubt you'll find a nicer condition car anywhere.

It's just had 4 new tyres. The Mot shows no advisories and its taxed until September.

I acquired the car in June simply as a bit of summer fun and have enjoyed used it daily.

Would take a classic Land Rover Defender in px to satisfy the next whim. but try me with anything.
