For Sale:  1950 Oldsmobile Rocket 88

Less than 2000 miles on all new and / or rebuilt components.   All work done in 2014.   Car completely re-wired with vintage style wiring – upgraded to 12v.   Only minor surface rust.   Great patina!

All original parts. trim. etc. either on the car or included with exception of original engine. transmission and radiator.

DRIVETRAIN:

Blueprint Engines – BP35511CTC1 355 Chevy SB Crate Motor. MSD ignition. Summit Racing 700 R4 trans. Lokar shifter. Griffin Radiator w/ matching Spal electric fan. hi flow water pump. Magnaflow glass packs. many extras.    Runs at 190-195 degrees consistently (even in 100 + degrees temps).

CHASSIS / STEERING / SUSPENSION:

Front suspension and steering completely rebuilt.   All 4 original lever shocks rebuilt.   I have all new bushings for the rear suspension but it hasn't been rebuilt yet.   Lowered 2”.    Brakes have all been rebuilt.   New master cylinder.    System completely flushed.

15” Wheel Vintiques Wheels w/ bullet center caps and lug nuts.   Tires like new condition.

BODY:

Straight.   Minor dings.   Only surface rust in spots.   Very good condition.   (appears to have had no repairs or Bondo)

All windows in great condition.   New seals. felt. rubber on all side windows.    Car only needs weather stripping around doors.

Drives / handles great.  Cruises 75 mph all day long.

Hate to sell her but need money for family vacations this year and to pay off bills.
