This is a real 1968 Formula S Barracuda convertible. 340 auto.   There were approximately 200 Formula S convertibles built in 1968.   The 340 is #'s matching. was running when I pulled it (but probably needs a rebuilding). and has the original X heads.   Transmission is not stamped.   The car is about 95% complete. but has been disassembled.   If you do not see something on the car. I likely have it stored separately (it was running and driving when I got it).   I have purchased items that were not original when I bought the car. so I have the correct carb. intake. radiator. etc.     It's hard to tell from the pictures. but the body is pretty straight. with some minor dings but nothing major.   I've focused a few of the pictures on the only "trouble" area: the engine compartment.   My guess is that the car was in a minor front-end accident.   I think the fenders were replaced.   The core support is bent. and the passenger side engine compartment is a little bent/"wrinkled".   The driver's side had a battery explosion so that's the area with the only real rust.   I added a picture of the trunk to show that it's in pretty good shape with only minor rust holes.   The car was painted the darker green. but is supposed to be lighter TT1 (see picture of fender tag for all options).   There is no broadcast sheet.   Included with the car are some new/restoration parts:  Legendary seat covers and pads (front and back). Legendary door panels. Laysons back seat panels. TTI 2. 5" exhaust (on the car). Laysons trunk trim moldings (upper and lower). Laysons rear tail lamp lenses and casings. reproduction top latches. and probably $200 more in other restoration/replacement parts.
