If you've been looking for an unmolested original condition 1 owner classic. look no further. I purchased this car from the son of the guy who bought it new in 1979.
This thing has been well maintained and is superb condition for its age. Make no mistakes. it is not concourse. but used and not abused.
Everything in it is original factory equipment.
The good
- Original down to the hubcaps.
- Runs and drives well.
- Newer tires
- Great condition overall.
The fixable
- Rear sway bar ends need replaced - I have ordered new ones which will be put on.
- Speedometer does not work. - I will look at it to see if it is a simple fix.
- Turn signals work but only for about 15 seconds.
- Cruise does not work.
- Slight wear spot on driver's seat.
- A few minor dings in body.
- Leaks a little oil.
- Pin sized rust spot behind the rear window.
- Rear seat coming away from package tray. (see pic)
These may be miniscule (they were to me) but I don't like surprises and want the buyer to be informed.
It's a fun car and these motors have been nicknamed the million mile motor so I've read.
