This has been an ongoing project for many years. Upon nearing completion. the family had a new edition. and this has meant it's time to say goodbye to this classic motor. She is 95% complete. but will make an ideal winter project ready for the spring. There are a few areas of paint that need touching up. this is NOT due to rust. but the car being uses as a 'shelf' in the garage. A lot of new parts have been fitted to the vehicle. most of which are original. the last of which. were stainless steel bumpers. The engine is a 2. 8 and has Jaguar 2' SU Carbs. with 2. 8 jets. Whilst the engine runs. there is some smoke on start up. but this clears when the engine is warm. I have been told this could be valve guide seals. so I have a new head gasket set to go with the car. Interior - all in good condition. seats have been recovered. The car does not come with an M. O. T. or Tax.  but it will be tax exempt from next year.
