DescriptionOne of 1. 02 B Hard Top Coupes produced in 1956. Equipped with the original 354 Hemi mated to a 3 Speed Torqueflite. According to owner the engine vin matches the vin on the frame per a CHP verification. Most 1956 300's were equipped with a 2 Speed Powerflite Automatic transmission and this particular car car is equipped from the factory with a 3 Speed Torqueflite per the build code interpretation. According to the Chrysler 300 Club Consultant Gill Cunningham there were only 26 3 Speed Torqueflite 300B's produced for that model year and as of 2007 there were only 9 that are known to still exist. Rarer than the manual of which they produced only 30. Extremely rare and desirable. It is a factory Raven Black car with Beige Leather interior per the factory build code interpretation supplied by the Chrysler 300 Club International. Power brakes. Power steering. Power windows and power seat. Current ownership dates back to approx 2000 which is when the restoration began. The car was purchased out of Washington State and driven down to California. It was a very solid and original driver when purchased by current owner. All body panels appear original to the car. The engine was sent to Jonesville Michigan where it was rebuilt by George Riehl who was the International Chrysler 300 Club President for many years and was a Giant in the 300 Community. We do have a receipt for this rebuild. Leather interior was completed by Gary Goers of Kalispell Montana.
