1973 Charger - General Lee Beast Real muscle from the USA! This 73 Charger is for true Mopar fans looking for a car they can actually drive. take to shows and genearlly show off. It has General Lee theme paint and accessories that catches a lot of attention. Everywhere we have taken this car. people stop by to ask about it and it sounds as mean as it looks. This isn't a show car to place in storage. but rather a fun super fast machine to take anywhere you want. It runs like a banshee for sure.

The car was built by a family friend here in Northern California and we purchased it a few years back. Due to health issues in the family we regrettably have to let it go. We have owned many Mopars over the years. but this is one of the most fun we have ever had. Taking it to car shows. cruising or just weekend jaunts always starts great conversations and brings up a lot of nostalgia for the golden days of American muscle cars.

Some of the particulars of this beast are:
1968 440 Wedge motor (425hp). It has a steel crank and was balanced when it was completely rebuilt a few years back.  The engine rebuild included new Crane Cam: fully adjustable rockers. nbsp;tappets. 3/8" push rods. valves and valve springs. New pistons and rings were also installed along with Mopar Performance valve covers. The transmission is the venerable 727B with a 2500 stall torque converter. and billit housing. It also has a reverse shift pattern Cheata SCS shifter with reverse lockout. Work to the suspension was also done. with racing shocks and torsion bar replacement. The ignition system was upgraded as well with a MSD 6AL box. Accel Super Coil. Mopar high RPM ignition kit with ignition control unit and distributor. New Moroso Ultra 40 racing wires were also installed. The fuel delivery is through duel Edelbrock 600 com carbs on a Weiand Tunnel Ram (2500 - 8000 RPM) supplied Carter Street Super fuel pump. Braided fuel lines with anodized fittings were installed with a inline fuel pressure gauge with fuel regulator. Air intake through a triple butterfly street scoop provides plenty of oxygen and makes it look that much meaner. The radiator was upgraded to a Nascar aluminum model with dual electric fans. The exhaust was upgraded with Hedman headers. Gibson superflow mufflers. and Patriot chrome lake pipes with Race Ready electric exhaust cut-outs. Racing seats with harness were installed.  Large tach and triple gauges installed. Lightweight lift off hood with pins. Battery was moved to the trunk. Clear California title. This car is kept covered and inside of our barn. It runs and drives great. The only rust I can see is near the passengar door (low) and around the rear bumper. See the last two pictures for details. Car is sold as is.  Any other questions feel free to ask before bidding.
