VG Valiant Pacer Hardtop - Pacer engine

Apologies - had to re-list.   I have just been advised that the engine number D243A02987 (although a Pacer engine and period correct) MAY not be the original one for the car.   Don't want to go stuffing people around if I'm not certain.   So I have relisted. with change in details (and a drop in the reserve) 

VG Hardtop Pacer in Bondi White and black trim. Pacer engine numbers engine (refer below)and absolutely complete. Last registered in 1993 (rego sticker still attached). Note: Not desperate to sell. love my Hardtops just looking for a change.  Got lots more pictures so can email them across.  

Engine/Gearbox
Pacer engine (D243A02987) Engine rebuild (top half) by previous owner. never run. All parts new. 40thou pistons etc. Comes with head (which needs doing). sump etc. Compelte Pacer 3 speed gear box with correct numbers (also fully rebuild). gear knob etc. The car currently has a base model 245 in it with a 3 speed. Unknown condition.  

Interior
Refer to picture (they say a thousand words). Hardtop Pacer bucket seats are absolutly immaculate. recline correctly and come will all the correct leavers and brackets. Rear seats are the same. perfect. Pacer dash with 0kms (not currently installed). no holes and 10/10 condition. Dash pad un-cracked. Good condition Charger steering wheel installed but will come with original steering wheel as well. Door trims have been cut for speakers unfortunately. No rust in floors. Small (4cm rip) in headlining otherwise all good.   

Pacer Parts 
All there (nothing missing). Hubcaps x 4 in perfect condition. trumpet horns. cluster air cleaner. badges. very good condition eyebrow strips included. bonnet strip on spare Pacer bonnet (refer below). All there.

Exterior/Body
Chassis is pretty good. front rails zero rust. Front guards are stuffed and need replacing (top/bottom etc) bottom of rear quarters need doing. one part of boot channel and where water was unfortunately collecting. Doors are more than salvageable (bottom of doors solid. refer to picture for rust). Front of car has has a hit in the past (crappy repair). so some work needed there along with the engine bay. drivers side boot cannel will need replacing. Under car rust free and dry. In essence will need body work. but the base is more than solid. Comes with very good good condition Pacer bonnet with strip. good condition spare rear bumper and Pacer sticker kit.

Ok. now the honest bit. I pride myself as not being a sh*t talker. so I know what the car is and how much its worth alone in parts (wont be parted out. wouldn't do it to the car).  

Secondly. for some of the more interesting/opportunistic characters out there after some cheap  (i. e. free) hard to get Pacer parts. Don't bother. the good stuff is stored off site.

Would look to swap for a solid. drivable Charger (cash adjustment either way if applicable) so open to offers.  Located S/E suburbs of Melbourne.
