1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Concours Wagon

 

 Today is a glorious day. as we have for sale a sleek and sexy Chevy wagon. This is a very desirable Chevelle Concours Wagon! This wagon has that awesome 70's race car look and room for all of your friends to take a ride with you. Under the hood is the 307ci/2 barrel engine mated to an auto trans. This wagon would be a great candidate for a restomod or late model LS swap. The vehicle also runs and drives as it is. and with some work could make for a nice weekend cruiser.

 

The underside and frame of this car is in relatively good shape for its age. There is rust on the underside. as shown in the pictures below. The body has dings. dents. and scratches as expected with a nearly 50 year old car. It appears to have had previous repair work done. however we are not aware of the repair history.   The scoop has been grafted onto the hood.   The right rear quarter has had work done. There is a baseball sized rust hole in the drivers side floor pan. The paint is decent. but not show quality.

This Concours is equipped with a 307ci 2 barrel engine and auto trans. The interior is in decent shape but does show some wear. The front seat shows wear under the seat cover. The third row seat will need recovered/replaced.  There are also some misc. interior parts missing as shown in the photos. and the rear (gate) window does not roll down.  As you can see by the protecto plate. this is an original "Cotton Wood Green" vehicle built in the Kansas City plant.

This vehicle is being sold with a clean Ohio title. The mileage on the title reads true mileage unknown. or will be "exempt" in some states.  The VIN from the vehicle is 136461K232331

This car could be driven locally. however we would recommend a tow if buyer is not nearby. This car could be made back to a daily driver with some work.

This vehicle is listed "AS IS"! It will come exactly as described and pictured. Once you purchase the vehicle. it is yours. We welcome you to come inspect the vehicle prior to bidding or buying during normal business hours. We are more than happy to show you every part of the vehicle. and put it on a lift so you can inspect all parts. We also welcome all mechanics or body shop repairmen that you would like to bring with you to inspect the vehicle.

If the vehicle is listed as being able to lot run and drive. that means the vehicle can be started and driven under its own power. We will not allow anyone to attempt to drive the vehicle home. as this is illegal. You must have the vehicle inspected and titled prior to driving on the road.

At times. we may add parts to the vehicle prior to listing that will assist the future buyer in their rebuild. cosmetically or mechanically.

Once the vehicle is paid for. we will provide storage for up to two weeks until pickup or delivery. $25 per day after two weeks.

We may allow for additional storage if discussed prior to purchase.

Towing

We will assist in all towing needs should the buyer decide to provide their own shipping. We will also help loading should the vehicle be picked up by the buyer. Should you decide to set up your own towing. we are not responsible once the vehicle is being loaded onto the transport.
