1962 Jaguar mk2 3.8 mod, for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.25) based on 438 votes

1964 Jaguar mk2 3. 8 manual with overdrive. the one to have !! also in arguably the best colour of British Racing Green. the car has "coombs" arches on the rear. it sits very well no sagging of suspension. it is a very good shell and prime for an easy restoration. taken off the road many years ago due to the ill health of its owner. ths was obviously a very nice car at the time. there is some blistering/bubbling to the doors but no holes or real areas of rust showing. from a few metres it still looks a very clean car. sills etc and underneath all look very solid. I would say there will be minimal welding repairs needed on this and probably no new panels. the front wings are very good.

I have not attempted to start it. the bonnet hinges have seized and we don't want to force the bonnet so we can only get it up a foot or so.

The interior needs some work. all the woodwork needs re-doing. the rear seat although in good condition is a different colour and would need to be either re-trimmed to match the front or coloured to match the front. the headlining needs replacement.

These 3. 8 mod cars as you will know are worth up to £50k when fully restored and as with all classic cars prices are rising all the time (classic cars rose 20% in value in the last 12 months. whilst gold rose only 10%)

The reserve for this car is set at a fraction of that price. it is here to be sold and the price is very realistic

I can deliver anywhere in the uk for extra cost. please ask for a price. the winning bidder must pay £500 deposit at the end of the auction
