1981 Mercedes-Benz G-Class pur worker

ebay does not recognize euro vins. ere is the original vin : 46023117010417. This

1981 Mercedes is a fresh trade in. sold it 2 years ago to the customer who now

bought something else from me. This G has a clean and clear CALIFORNIA title and

is located in Wildomar. a where it can be seen and inspected. When I sold the G it

had no rust and original red paint that was tired and started to fade so client had it

painted in desirable white. Through the 2 years he owned it he had all the brakes

fully redone including the calipers. Its standing on new toyo tires. Under the hood it

has the powerfull OM617A 5 cylinder 3 liter turbo diesel and its mated with a 5 

speed manual transmission. he clutch was recently renewed so no worries there.

No ac. Truck is in excellent condition and ready to hit the road. Original plad interior.

Low 115000 miles or 180000km truck so a lot of life left. Like another 30 years or so.

This is a true civilian European model. ot a retired ex-army truck so it also has the 12V

charging system and not 24V. If I think of more ill post it later. This is a 4wd with lockers.

remember. inter is here. well not here in fla and south ca :-). This truck has no computers

so every old school mechanic can work on them and driveline parts are commonly avaible

at the local parts stores. They also run great on veggie oil and they will make a great escape

vehicle for when there are disasters. Diesel fuel never runs out at gasstations. as does and

the military also always have diesel avaible. This G and all my other vehicles are also for sale

at my lot so its possible I take it off Ebay early. Please remember. my vehicles are European

imports and have a KM speedo!The drivelines are old school Mercedes and parts are commonly
