We have been watching this car for a while and when it finally made its way to our shop I was stunned to say the least. This car rolled out of the trailer and the sun bounced off of it like it was the only thing that could be seen for miles.
As pictures will try to capture this cars panels are as straight as can be. with SMOOTH contours and CRISP lines! The panel gaps line up very nicely and the Butternut Yellow paint that was laid out over this laser straight body is SHOW quality! It is incredible at any angle you want to take it in and looks MILES deep! The clear that was laid out adds a TON of depth and the reflection is mirror quality in this 1st gen. I have NEVER seen a Butternut paint job look this good in my LIFE! This meticulous nut and bolt rotisserie restoration is exactly what everybody wishes there restoration would look like! EVERYTHING is NEW!! The glass is all clear and easy to see through. The bottom of this car looks AMAZING! The pans are all SOLID as pictures will show! The frame has been coated and this car represents a TRUE rotisserie with NO expense spared in ANY way! The fit and finish on this vehicle is second to none and there is not enough adjectives in the English dictionary to describe this car! This car has A TON of money invested into this SPOT ON build.
The interior is show quality from a set of reworked buckets that look to have never been sat on to a rear seat that boasts the same quality! The carpet is ALL new and free of stains. The gauges are crystal clear and easy to read! The dash is perfect and the door panels have been reworked to match the seats in the same period correct fashion as well! Everything on this interior is perfect! Inside and out this car is a show stopper!
As you pop the hood you will notice an underside of the hood and bay has been finished in satin black just as Chevy intended it! Between the fenders rests a PERIOD CORRECT 396 that has been detailed to the MAX with just enough chrome to catch your eye but yet not over the top! It is paired to a 4 speed manual transmission that shifts smooth as butter! In the rear you will find a pozi 12 bolt that hosts 373 gears. With this combo you have the best of both worlds. a FAST. TORQUEY car that can also cruise on the highway nicely! This car starts with the turn of a key and NO need to pump the gas. It runs extremely well and drives like NO OTHER! The custom exhaust has an incredible tone at idle and only gets better as you get into the gas!
This is the BEST car you will EVER find in this price range and you will NOT be disappointed in ANY way! If you are in the market for a 1st gen Camaro that will outshine the rest you have found the one!
