This T bird is a great car for those Sunday drives. While it appears it was never really restored. It has however been redone over the years. I believe was originally a black on black car as well but I never bothered to check the numbers on it. I was told it was original mileage as well and my guess is they are correct. The 312 runs terrific and starts first crank every time. Engine does appear to not have been taken apart ever. Transmission was rebuilt years ago as well and shifts and works fine. There are two tops included and both are decent. The soft top does have a mouse hole on the right side but otherwise is good. but then who runs one of these with the top up?

Car is equipped with the 312 engine. automatic transmission. power steering and power brakes. The body was redone in old school techniques but still really looks good; paint is nice as well. It is not a show car though in that sense so don't expect an Amos Minter all restored car. The bones are really good underneath and the brake and fuel lines. front end components and springs fuel tank all have been replaced. I replaced the tires with a nice set of radials and car runs and drives excellent.

When I got the car it had some issues as they all do. But most are corrected. New weather stripping installed. on the doors. hood trunk and window posts. Repaired pass side window channel. installed manual seat controls as was originally a power seat car. seat works great now and more room. replaced and or repaired all wiring issues especially the headlight harness. ( new style now direct to bulbs )  new radio and antennae. Installed new hood hinges too. I replaced bad starter. changed transmission fluid and filter. repaired rear pinion seal leak too. Now is down to one small ps leak to be done yet. I fixed temp gauge as well. Now all but the clock works great. I also replaced the factory steering wheel with the new smaller 15 inch wheel. Steers the same and is a joy to get in and out of now. Replaced numerous chrome accessories as well too. I installed pertronix ignition in distributor too.

There are a few cosmetic things to do as well but small items. Kick panel louvers inside. I have them and included. adjust top posts better. span >  plugs. cap wires. and are all included. I also have a stand for the hardtop that is included as well with the sale. Doors are good don't sag and close right and no cracks. span >  yes it has older bondo work but is still not a rust bucket. for the money a great driver quality t bird that still turns heads' e mail questions and or we can talk on phone.   Downsizing the collection. so it's got to go and reasonably priced for you to enjoy.
