Austin 1800 6/1970 build date/tag date. Kimberly ? Drives really quite well for it's age. drove it home today through ballarat city during 'peak hour' ie some traffic. and on the 110 km fwy to ballan. no probs at all (mirror bit loose and moved and the indicators and a few things inside the car need attention like no radio in the hole etc. eats are way more comfy than my vz maloo. good condition too as is most of the black interior bits. racks to the door closer on drivers side. Comes as u see it in pics from today. as some rust but not too bad for a 1970 car. Bottoms of the doors mainly on the passenger side has few rust spots. nd there are a couple of rust holes in the boot under the mat. have a pic up of passenger side. ut is also a few holes on the drives side to the boot floor bottom again under the rubber mat. also a line of rust that I believe u could repair at the front of the bonnet.
The car is at ballan vic about an hour out of Melbourne towards ballarat. I would believe it should be fine on a permit to drive to melb ballarat Geelong etc. ith a car following etc as I did just incase. but again drove really well for me today.
