1932 Ford Roadster Project Original Chassis Brookville Body w/Title

Great start on a traditional 32 roadster. New Brookville body on an original 32 chassis with lots of early Ford parts mixed with new parts.

The frame is an excellent original 1932 from an old hot rod. It has its original k-member and front and rear cross members. The frame is in very good condition with the only damage at the holes for the right front shock. It includes the original steering box. column. drop and wheel. Box feels tight. Also comes with the original pedals. At some point it was converted to juice brakes and the tab on the top of the brake pedal was moved to the bottom to work with a master cylinder.

The front suspension is all 1932 and includes an original 1932 heavy axle with a 4” drop. It has 32 spindles with the steering arms bent to clear the un-split 32 wishbone. In addition it has 32 spring perches. kingpins. tie rod and drag link. The backing plates and drums are later hydraulic. The rear end is a 1932 Ford and includes torque tube. spring and radius rods. Brackets were added back in the day for tube shocks. There is no driveshaft.

The motor is an early 21 stud flathead V-8. It turns over by hand. It may be an LB but there are no markings visible on the block. It has a 37 intake. 37 distributor. later oil pan and a cool old remote oil filter.  The heads are 33-34 aluminum. It's mounted with original 32 motor mounts. The transmission is a 1933 with 1939 gears and 1939 double detent top.

Wheels are 16x4” Early Ford w/ new Firestone 7. 50 and 4. 50 tires. Includes old caps and rings.

The body is the most original style roadster body available from Brookville. The tops of the quarters are reworked to allow the wooden tack strip to fit like original 32's. The body also comes with lower windshield stanchions. stock style floor with the pan under the seat. seat back wood. seat riser. stock style dash. cowl vent and door hinges. The firewall and grill shell are original style from Brookville. The grill insert is Vintique and the gas tank is new from Tanks. Hood is a new Rootlieb 25 Louver hood. Body has been mounted to the frame and shimmed. Welting has been installed on cowl and grill shell. Hood has been installed with hold downs and bumpers. Hood fits nice and doors close easy.

Comes with current and correct Tennessee title for 1932 Ford Roadster in my name matching #'s on the frame.
