History

This gorgeous Audi Quattro was first registered on the 9-9-1983 she looks stunning in the iconic mars red. and is by far the best colour for a Quattro. it really lights up the road and shows off the sexy angles and lines on her famous wide boxed out body shape. She is all matching numbers. engine number # WR004353 chassis number # 85DA902078 retaining its original engine adds to its originality and authenticity. It's only showing 118k miles from new. and is very low for a car of its age. averaging 3900 miles per year. A major service has just been carried out including replacement of all the belts etc. The original Audi Quattro is without a doubt one of the most iconic cars in history. not only are they stunning looking and famous for their four wheel drive design. but they made one of the most successful rally cars the world has ever seen. When you drive this car it always brings a smile to your face. because you're always reminded of the scenes of it flying through the forests in Europe shooting out flames six feet long. and being driven by legends like Walter Rohrl or Michele Mouton.

Anyone who grew up in the 80's has dreamt of owning a Quattro. they must have looked like they where from another planet when they arrived. they literally look like they are going 100mph standing still. The fun thing also about driving these. is that our roads today are saturated by tons of modern Audis. and when you pull up in this machine. people literally stop and stare. and jaws will tend to fall open slightly. Interior.

The interior is in fantastic condition. the seats are the iconic teddy bear pattern. and they are not torn or busted up like 99% of other cars out there. It's just been completely recarpeted and it updates the interior immensely. giving  it a new car look and feel inside. All the instruments work as they should and all the electrics work perfect. These cars tend to have broken electric windows and fuel gauges that no longer work. and heater controls that won't work etc etc. this baby is fully operational. Actually these cars are years ahead of their time in terms of comfort  and ease of use. the cockpit is a lovely comfortable place to be. nbsp; and she drives so smooth and nice.  its almost impossible to believe you're driving a car from 1983. You really can use these as a reliable daily driver. I just had a custom handbrake gaiter and gearstick gaiter hand made. and fitted a billet aluminium gear knob just to tidy things up perfect. This interior is the original first generation design as the Quattro interior got revamped in 1984. so it's nice to have an early design car. It also has a very rare four spoke Turbo embossed steering wheel. A nice little tape deck stereo sets the 80's mood inside too.

Body.

This is a non sunroof model. and there is no rust on the car. it is rot free throughout and the structure of the shell is perfect. It was completely resprayed in recent times. there are a few cracks in the paint near the arches but would only take a couple of hundred quid to perfect. she still looks amazing and is very presentable and the body looks fantastic. There is no signs of accident damage. all the panels are straight and fit as factory original. there is no signs of body fillers either. It is fitted with the dark tail lights which look good.

Mechanical.

Mechanically this Audi is perfect and there has been a fortune spent on it. there was a new fuel pump fitted. new plug leads. all new rubber bushings too which tighten up the handling to the way she was intended when new. A new full stainless steel exhaust really sets her off  and will last a lifetime (very expensive part). She starts first turn of the key and drives like a dream. nbsp; there really is not one penny to spend on this car mechanically. The engine bay is nicely detailed and looks amazing. colour coded rocker cover and various other parts of the engine also tastefully detailed. it looks very impressive under the bonnet. There is no oil leaks  and the turbo is 100%

Dished Audi wheels  refurbed in white. they really work well with the Mars red body.   4 brand new tyres all round.

Overiew

No other car on the road gives you more value for money than a classic Audi Quattro.
