 SHELBY COBRA 427 SC  CSX4272      I  offered this car for sale about 5 years ago and at the last minute backed out of the sale. I just couldnt part with it at the time. ealizing that replacing it would be next to impossible. Not that another csx couldn't be found but one like this no. This csx was built with great detail to mirror the first generations genetics. first its an alloy body painted guardsmen blue with wimbelton white stripes. has leather seats. Real smiths gages with the decal still on the speedometer a 16 inch vintage steering wheel . rebatt look batteries behind the seat as was all semi comp cars. All emblems head lamps and park and turn lenses were replaced with original OEM ones. Has a original Talbot mirror . original non leaking fuel pumps in trunk. The NOS 427 side oiler is 1966 vintage standard bore built from new for this car . not a refurbished one. Has alloy heads and intake with a holley 850 sitting in the proper turkey pan coverd by a stellings air cleaner. The 4 sp trans is a ford top loader. Side pipes are upgrades to 4 inch compition pipes. Car sits on good year bill boards with original halibrand magnesium wheels and polished halibrand spinners. Ther are a lot of small details that were done too many to list . I have every bill and build sheet dash plaque and original MSO signed by Shelby himself as was the trunk panel and cleared over for protection. This car was built by HRE motor cars and is tight smoothe and very fast . What would it cost to replicate who knows most of the vintage parts are not available anywhere especially the halibrands .  any questions call john 516 659 0596
