The interior is original and in excellent condition. This Fairlane is powered by the optional 352ci Interceptor V8 rated at 300hp with 10. 2:1 compression and Holley 4V carburation. To the best of our knowledge the motor has never required a rebuild. This was the engine that powered the '58 Thunderbird and the largest engine available in the Fairlane 500 line-up. A 3-speed manual gearbox with stout clutch supplies torque to a 9 Ford differential with factory 3. 56:1 gearing. Braking comes from huge 11 drums. This original Fairlane 500 is ready for a new home.
