Just undergone a 4 month winter body resto. the idea was to get everything solid and replace all panels that needed it. the plan was to keep it ratty looking so a matting agent was added to the 2 Pack paint and only the bottom section below the tailgates and new panels were resprayed in the original Dove Blue. was going to the flat the paint back at a later date to age the paint look. or have whole van resprayed the front doors. Engine lids and drops are all original paint. all welding was completed underneath and then the whole thing was waxoyled. The last picture is the Van before the work was carried out. I have loads of photos of the work carried out. /span>The engine was removed and completely stripped and serviced last week all new gaskets. plugs. leads etc with a new clutch fitted and new Mahle Barrels & Pistons fitted all tinware was painted or replaced and engine bay cleaned and painted looks really good and fresh. At the same time a new fuel pump. fuel pipe. chrome rocker covers. new pulley wheels. oil filler. mechanical advance distributor. coil. fan housing and brand new twin solex carbsEngine is a 1600cc twin portAll carbs and the timing have all been set up properly Brand new Battery fittedOnly done about 50 miles since rebuild which all in all cost around £1200Creative Engineering Narrowed & Lowered Disc Brake ConversionRear lowered tooTwin pack exhaust

Dear Sir,

I am interested in the Volkswagen Bay Single Cab Pick Up 1974 you're offering in the website cars-from-UK.com but I need to know more details about its characteristics and condition. I have the following questions:
- Is there rust on the coachwork?

- Are all its parts original?

- When was the last check-up done? And the oil change? Is it possible to attach invoice for them?

- Is the vehicle in running condition? Is the current MOT test passed? I wonder if I could take the pickup by road to Spain.

Also, I would really appreciate if you could send me scanned the registration certificate (I think you call it V5C) so I can check if there would be any problem with the regulations in Spain and what the steps to transfer ownership are in the UK.

If everything is satisfactory, I think we can reach an agreement regarding price.

Could you send more pictures of the pickup as well?
