I am reluctantly selling my 1972 BMW 3. 0csi with 5 speed transmission. which I have owned since 1997.   The car has undergone an extensive restoration.   In the mid 1990s. the previous owner replaced the rockers and shock towers. and repainted the car to the original red (granatrot. paint code 025. in BMW speak).

Since I acquired the car. it has had

* 5-speed overdrive transmission conversion
* a rebuilt the engine and cylinder head
* re-cored radiator
* new springs. shocks. and suspension rubber
* acid dipped and powder-coated subframes. strut housings. and trailing arms
* new tie rods
* new ball-joints/control arms
* new water pump
* fuel injection tuned
* new wind-shield and rear windscreen gaskets
* new tires

I have put less than 3. 00 miles on it since the engine was rebuilt. The car runs like a top and looks great.

What it still needs to be perfect:

* A stereo/antenna (I will provide a period correct Blaupunkt radio/cassette player to the wining bidder).
* Speakers - The door panels are unmolested. but there are holes in the rear deck for 6x9 speakers. and wiring running under the carpet.
* Rear seat belts - I have never had these. though they can be easily installed.
* A full tool kit - I have some of the tools. but many are missing.   The tool tray itself is intact and in good condition.
* Matching keyed locks (doors and ignition currently use different keys)
* Minor cosmetic issues.

Extras

I have lots of replacement parts. including rubber gaskets for the windows and trunk. a bolt on top oil filter housing (makes for much neater oil changes). and other mechanical and body parts.
